What is the group about?
Anger Management Group is about learning the impact and consequences of anger, learning about how to manage anger, learning about how anger has currently impacted you and how to not let anger negatively impact you in the future. The anger management model is based on evidenced based theory consisting of 11 modules using Cognitive Behavioral Theory (CBT).
Are there specific requirements to attend a group?
The Anger Management Group is only for court ordered individuals or individuals mandated by other means. You must bring your court order to the consultation. If the therapist thinks you may not be a good fit for the group the therapist will refer you to a facility or group that may be more appropriate. You must have a consultation with the therapist.
What are my transportation/parking options?
There is free parking in a private lot. The general location is the Philadelphia/Bala Cynwyd area. The location is near buses and trains. You must register to get the exact location of the group.
Can I pay as I attend each group?
Yes, you will pay a higher fee per session but you may pay as you go with no commitment.
What is the cost of group?
If you pay for 11 modules in advance, the cost will be $505
Per session Anger management Group cost $55 per session.
There is a mandatory consultation of $75.
There is a $35 fee for your workbook.
The therapist also offers individual anger management classes for $75 per session and a $75 consultation fee.
How are group participants chosen?
Anyone can call to attend this group, if they feel anger is a primary issue they are dealing with; however, the therapist must make a determination as to appropriate fit to the group.
What's the refund policy?
There are no refunds for Anger Management group.
